Study Psychology at Albizu University

The Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Albizu University offers minors in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). The ABA track includes a Verified Course Sequence approved by the Association for Behavior Analysis International, preparing students for BCaBA certification. The SLP minor includes 24 elective credits and 100 clinical practicum hours, aligning with requirements set by ASHA and the Florida Board. Graduates are equipped for careers as behavior technicians, SLPA candidates, or future graduate students in psychology, behavior analysis, or speech-language fields.

SLP Assistant Pathway

The SLP minor fulfills Florida Board and ASHA coursework requirements and includes 100 clinical hours, preparing students to become certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).

ABAI Verified Courses

The ABA minor includes a Verified Course Sequence (VCS) approved by the Association for Behavior Analysis International, preparing students for the BCaBA certification exam.
